Decision due on building of 2,500 new homes to east of Aylesbury
Land to the east of Aylesbury that is set to be developed
The building of 2,450 new homes and other infrastructure to the east of Aylesbury looks set to be approved by the district council.
The building of an eastern link road, two primary schools and new flood defences are also part of plans for the Bierton with Broughton area that will go before the council’s strategic development committee on Friday, September 28.
Prior to the meeting, it has been recommended that councillors support the application and ask the head of planning to resolve any outstanding issues with it.
A report to the committee said the development would provide social and economic benefits to the public, as well as benefitting the environment by improving the quality and quantity of habitats for the Great Crested Newt.
