BHTV's big interview: TV chef Sophie Grigson

BHTV caught up with celebrity TV chef and food author Sophie Grigson when she visited the Local Flavours Trade Show in Aylesbury this week.

Sophie was at Stoke Mandeville Stadium's Olympic Lodge for the local trade show where she hoped her prescence might help boost local produce awareness.

She spoke to BHTV about Aylesbury, her thoughts on cooking, the trade show and making the most of local produce.

Daughter of legendary food writer Jane, Sophie has become a best-selling cookery writer and household name in her own right.

Sophie was drawn into the world of cookery through an interest in ethnic food shops. Soon she was starting to create her own recipes and writing food articles, inspired by her mother. She has gone on to contribute recipes and columns for national newspapers, present and appear on numerous TV series and of course write very successful cookery books in her own inimitable, accessible style.

Sophie's TV career began in 1993 with the series Grow Your Greens, Eat Your Greens for Channel 4.
