Aylesbury Vale £1m lottery win is claimed
A £1,000,000 winning lottery ticket bought in the Vale has finally been claimed.
In mid-January lottery operator Camelot appealed for the winner to come forward after the winning New Year’s Day EuroMillions Millionaire raffle prize remained unclaimed.
But a spokesman said this week: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win – what a great way to start 2013. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-changing amount of money.”
The winner’s identity has not been released by Camelot.
