PART of the A413 was closed on Thursday morning after a serious multi-vehicle crash just outside Winslow.
A man had to be rescued from one of the cars by fire crews from Aylesbury and Winslow, who attended the incident.
A paramedic first responder was first at the scene, swiftly followed by an ambulance.
The road was closed in both directions for a short time.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “There was a collision on the A413 in Winslow at 7.25am today (16/2).
“It was a collision between a black Vauxhall Astra and a grey Renault Laguna.
“The Renault ended up in a hedge and the driver was trapped inside and has been treated for minor injuries.
“There were no injuries to the driver of the Astra.
“Both vehicles were recovered by 9.25am.
“No arrests were made.”
