22-year-old drug dealer jailed and more searches carried out

A 22-year-old man has been jailed for drug offences as part of Operation Sideline in Aylesbury.
Yousef Hibat, from Belgrave Road, Aylesbury, was sentenced to two years in prison at Oxford Crown Court Monday after admitting possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Det Insp Russ Murden, from Aylesbury CID, said: “Hibat is the fifth person involved in the supply of Class A drugs in Aylesbury to be jailed through Operation Sideline and the sixth to be convicted.
“We are pleased with this latest result which reinforces the message that Aylesbury is a high risk area for those involved in the supply of illegal drugs.”
Ten people have also been arrested after drugs warrants were executed across the town.
The warrants were executed on Friday (at properties in Meredith Drive, Montague Road, Coventon Road, and two properties in Fletcher Close. A quantity of cash believed to have been used in crime was recovered.
A 51-year-old man, a 37-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy have been released on bail until November 9.
A 32-year-old man, a 20-year-old man and 30-year-old woman have been released on bail until 10 December.
A 50-year-old man has been released on bail until December 4.
A 23-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have been released on bail until December 13.
Sgt Jean Pittendrigh, from Aylesbury police station, said “These warrants were part on the ongoing Operation Abacus activity, providing reassurance and support to the community together with taking action against those involved in illegal drugs in Aylesbury.”
