Aylesbury College students are gearing up to ‘take over’ the Holiday Inn Aylesbury.
The student takeover will take place on Thursday, March 2 and members of the public will have the opportunity to join in with the project.
Students will be working alongside experienced staff members in reception, the Spirit Health Club and in the hotel’s Junction Restaurant.
The day is designed to give the students valuable work experience and the opportunity to find out what it is like to work in the industry with the pressures, challenges and rewards of the hospitality sector.
As part of the takeover day, Aylesbury College Hospitality and Catering students will be hosting a three-course charity dinner at the hotel in the evening, where they will prepare and serve the whole meal, supported by college tutors.
Tickets for the dinner are priced at £30 per person, with at least £20 of the ticket price being donated to the Mix 96 Charity of the Year.
