Staff and students at Princes Risborough School are celebrating this GCSE results day.

Executive headteacher, Pete Rowe, said; ‘We are really proud to announce that our students achieved significantly above the expected national levels of progress in both English and maths and that our most able students also gained results that were higher than the national figures.

“Equally, PRS has done extremely well by the more vulnerable students and has bucked the national and county trends by having a very small gap between those pupils on pupil premium and those not.

“The message is simple; at PRS whoever you are and at whatever academic level you join us we will do well by you if you work hard and ‘Enjoy and Achieve’ as the school motto states.”

High flyers at the school were Sophie Ahern, Naomi Atherton, Issy Bryant, Will Harrison, Ella Hatfield, Molly Hitchcock, Millie Skinner and Chatlotte Trott who achieved a straight run of A and A* grades.
