Four Parts of the World to move

Four historic statues will be re-sited at Waddesdon Manor subject to a planning application being approved.

The Four Parts of the World sculptures created by Cassetti currently reside on the south lawn.

But the application to Aylesbury Vale District Council is seeking permission to reposition the statues to the open space immediately after the groves, on the main drive, so that visitors will see them as they approach the manor from the new car park.

As part of the application, restoration of the landscape is recommended, to recover the seamless sequence of open groves and parkland as visitors approach the gardens.
