Slideshow: Vintage vehicle show pulls in the crowds

SPECTATORS turned out in force for the Steam and Vintage Vehicle Show in Quainton.

Vehicles at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre included full sized and miniature traction engines, tractors as well as fire engines and commercial vehicles.

The exhibitors were pleased with how the day went.

Jim Sarney was a fireman on the Great Central Railway, which used to run through Quainton.

Mr Sarney, who was driving a Richard Hazells' 1934 Sentinel Steam Wagon said: "This was a fantastic rally, the whole event was very much enjoyed by all the enginemen and the exhibitors."
