BROOKMEAD LATEST. It's a busy time at Brookmead School with Science Day coming up on Thursday, the school's harvest service in church at 11am on Friday and open evenings in the offing on Wednesday October 9 and Thursday October 10.
Meanwhile, governor Tracey Doyle has started an after-school choir with 30 children signed up already.
CONFIRMATION. This year's Confirmation service will be held on December 9 - the time and venue have yet to be decided.
WI. Ivinghoe and Pitstone Women's Institute's October meeting is at 7.45 pm on Thursday October 11 and will be a Fun and Games Hallowe'en Evening. The competition is Make and Wear a Witch's Hat. All are welcome. For more information contact Maggie Halsey on 01296 668644.
