This month we have gone baby crazy, with everything you need to know from conception right through to birth and beyond.
With three of my own under my belt, I really enjoyed writing about all the things I have experienced for myself (you may notice my love of gas and air!) and learning a few new things, too.
Advice and recommendations regarding pregnancy health, nutrition, birth and labour choices seem to change like the wind. All advice and tips in this magazine are written with the best of intentions, but please do ask your midwife or GP if you think something may be unsuitable for you.
Whether it is your first or last baby, pregnancy is a magical time, which we have captured on pages 8-9, where we look at how your baby develops from a tiny cluster of cells to a real little person – a breathtaking feat in itself.
We also have real life stories of local babies who beat the odds to be here, and an inspirational mum whose love for her unborn baby helped her to keep going.
