Pupils from Haydon Abbey School in Aylesbury have been learning more about the world of work thanks to a number of guests.

Assistant social worker Sabrina Clarke, Waterside panto star Andy Collins, policeman James Martin and play therapist Shirley Billeyard came to speak to the Year Six pupils on Monday June 22.

The school’s pupil premium co-ordinator Chantelle Gore said: “The children had to guess what job the adults did and then the adults talked about what they did and the pupils asked questions.

“The aim of the day was to raise pupils aspirations and make them realise the different types of work that are available.

“The pupils loved the day and their favourite people were the policeman with all his props and Andy Collins!”
