Pupils at Bedgrove Junior School raised funds for Red Nose Day on Friday by making a nose out of coins.
Children from years three to six spent an hour placing coins on the playground to make the nose.
There was also a competition to find the student with the most red items on and as our pictures show pupils got into the spirit by wearing red trousers, T-shirts, jumpers, noses and accessories.
Headteacher Lorraine Greco said: “The school council came up with the idea for the day.
“Every child brought a coin and we had about £400 worth of coins on the playground.
“All the pupils were asked to wear red and we sold about 800 red noses.
“We also had a team of eight pupils who did a sponsored dance for the music teacher.”
