The head of the John Colet School has said she is delighted by this year’s ‘fantastic’ results.

Christine McLintock said she felt ‘very proud’ after 70% of Year 11 students achieved A* to C grades in five subjects and 64% secured five A* to C grades including Maths and English Language.

This year’s top performing pupils included Lauren Jackson with 13 GCSEs at grades A and A* and Nathan Gray with 11 of his GCSEs at grades A and A*.

Mrs McLintock said: “These results are achieved through hard work from the students with continuous support from the staff.

“It is always wonderful to see the excitement and relief of students when they receive their results.
