Princes Risborough School executive headteacher Pete Rowe has said he is delighted after the school achieved its best ever A-level results.

The school achieved a 72% pass rate at A* to C.

Mr Rowe said: “I am particularly pleased with the A*s that have been achieved, which shows that PRS does really well by its brightest students all of whom are now moving on to top universities.

“Particularly pleasing are Claire Buxton’s A*s and As in English, classical civilization and geography, Amber Coates’ A*s in English and geography and B in classical civilization and Haithe Spenle’s A*s and Bs in textiles, classical civilization and English.

“The school’s BTEC results are equally impressive with, again, 100% passing and the equivalent of a 93% A* - C pass rate.

“AS results are also very strong showing that high quality learning is embedded throughout the sixth form.”
