A planned demonstration by the English Defence League is set to cost more than £300,000 to police.
Aylesbury market has already fallen victim to the EDL's 'static demonstration', which is now set to take place on Saturday, May 1.
And many town centre shops and businesses could be set to follow, with traders considering whether to shut their doors as thousands of activists descend on the town.
A counter protest has been planned, and 450 police officers are set to be on duty amid fear of violent clashes.
But this week two of the EDL's national leaders claimed members would not be coming to Aylesbury to cause 'heartache' to people living in the town.
