A pair who fled the scene of a crash which left another man with whiplash are being hunted by police.
A silver Subaru Impreza was travelling along New Street in Aylesbury on Friday night when it crashed with a silver Ford Focus.
The driver of the Impreza, a 46-year-old man, suffered whiplash and had to be treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
But the Focus, believed to contain two Asian men, fled the scene via Havelock Street.
The man has since been discharged from hospital but police would like to speak to anyone who saw anything.
It happened at about 10.15pm on Friday, June 26.
Investigating officer PC Daniel Carter said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision itself, or saw either vehicle before or after the incident to contact police via 101.
“If you don’t feel comfortable speaking to the police then you can always contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
“No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
