Two men and 16-year-old girl arrested after late-night assault

Three people, including a sixteen-year-old girl, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm after a man was hospitalised with head injuries.

The 24-year-old victim was attacked in Grenville Green, Aylesbury at about 11.15pm on Sunday night.

Police say three people are believed to have left the scene in a black motor vehicle before officers arrived and are appealing for anyone who was in the area who may have information to come forward.

A 16-year-old girl and two men aged 21 and 28, all from Aylesbury, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.

Speaking yesterday (Monday), investigating officer Det Insp Mark Baxter said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to please contact police immediately via 101 quoting URN 1507 (17/5).

“Officers have been at the scene today conducting enquiries and providing reassurance to local residents.
