Thousands of pounds of jewellery, cameras and laptops stolen in burglary spree

Burglaries in which electrical items and jewellery were stolen are being linked by police.

The incidents all happened in Aylesbury over the weekend.

In the first burglary thousands of pounds worth of jewellery was stolen from a home in Kingsland Road between 4.45pm and 8.15pm.

In the second a Canon EOS 1100D camera and jewellery was stolen from a home in Elham Way between 2.20pm on Saturday and 2.25am on Sunday.

In the third, a new black HP laptop worth £300 to £400, a white 32gb Apple iPad in a black leather flip case, a black Blackberry z10 smartphone, a Canon E-O camera worth £800 and a digital lens worth £200 were all stolen from a home in Rixons Meadow, Fairford Leys between 9.15am on Saturday and 2.15am on Sunday.

In each case burglars gained entry by forcing open a rear window.
