A shopkeeper was left with a broken nose after being punched and racially abused in Aylesbury town centre.

The victim, who works at the Yellow Parrot off-licence in Kingsbury, heard a football strike the shop window just after 7pm last Tuesday.

He went outside to investigate but was abused by two men and punched several times leaving him nursing a broken nose, with cuts and bruises to his lips and face.

The incident happened on March 4 and anyone with information is asked to come forward, police said today.

The men were in their early 20s and both about 5ft 8ins. One of them was wearing a dark tracksuit and the other was wearing a red shirt and hat.
