Police are investigating the theft of a child’s bike on Christmas Eve.

Between 1am and 10am an orange BMX bike belonging to Adam Evans, 9, was stolen from the garden of a property in Ceely Road, Aylesbury.

There was a reported sighting of the bike in Clover Lane on Christmas Day.

Adam rides with the Memory Lane crew, an Aylesbury-based group that raises money for good causes through sponsored bike rides.

Tony Coombs, who leads the group said: “Adam loved his bike and took part in a bike ride raising money for Cancer Research UK’s Wear It Pink Day in October.

“If anyone could help on this it would be nice as he is gutted.”

Adam is pictured above on the bike, which is now missing, at the Santa’s parade event in November.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact police on 101.
