Knife-wielding robber slashes man’s face

A knife-wielding thug cut a man’s face during an attempted robbery in Aylesbury.

The 45-year-old victim was walking along Lavender Close at about 5.20pm on Saturday February 14 when the man with a knife demanded money.

The victim received treatment at Stoke Mandeville hospital for the horizontal cut across his nose as well as swelling to his right eye.

Police said incidents such as this are extremely rare and officers are doing everything to investigate the incident.

Two men, aged 46 and 31, and both from Aylesbury have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed with ‘strict’ conditions.
