The contents of four Poppy Appeal collection tins were stolen between Monday October 19 and Thursday November 12.

The tins were stolen from The Coffee House in Buttermarket, Cafe Bobo in Greyhound Walk, St Mary’s Church in Church Road and the Masonic Hall in the High Street.

PC Matthew Huard of Thame police station said: “Unfortunately none of the locations have CCTV footage of the incidents, and so we want to appeal to the public to come forward if they saw anyone acting suspiciously around the collection tins in the above locations.”

Anyone with information should contact the police enquiry centre on 101 and ask to speak with PC Huard.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
