Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a fight inside McDonalds in Aylesbury.

At around 2.30am on April 19, a disturbance occurred inside the restaurant in the High Street which involved a number of people fighting.

During the incident, a 34-year-old man was assaulted as he tried to intervene to calm the situation.

He suffered a broken jaw in two places after he was punched in the head and face by at least two other men.

He was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Det Con Glen Turner, investigating officer said: “As part of our ongoing investigation, we would like to speak to the man seen featured here on CCTV, or to anyone who may recognise him.”

The image was released by police yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
