Cash and jewellery taken in weekend burglary spree

Police are appealing for information after nine burglaries in three days across Bucks.

The series of break-ins happened between Friday 8 and Sunday 10 August, and included offences in New Road, Princes Risborough and Peters Lane, Monks Risborough.

Other incidents took place in High Wycombe and Hazlemere.

DI Rob Hood said: “Overall, the amount of burglaries residents in the High Wycombe area experience is still very low.

“However, we did see a spike in these offences over the weekend, where cash and jewellery were targeted.

“I urge anyone that may have information about these offences, or has seen anything suspicious, to call the police, using the 101 number.
