A thief who stole DVDs from Aldi is featured in this week’s round-up from Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court.

JONATHAN DIONASIS, 30, of Tringford Road, Tringford. On October 7 stole DVDs worth £23 from Aldi, Cambridge Street, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Fined £73, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

JOANNA HILL, 48, of Roseberry Road, Aston Clinton. 1) Between April 2009 and October 2010 failed to notify Aylesbury Vale District Council of a change in circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to benefit. On September 9, 2009 she received £70,000 into her bank account. Pleaded guilty. 2) On September 6 2011 made a statement to Aylesbury Vale District Council which she knew to be false with a view to obtaining housing and council tax benefit. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

BENJAMIN KINGSLEY BAXTER, 23, of Knyghton Close, Slapton. On July 4 at Knyghton Close assaulted a female. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

CRAIG ANTHONY JONES, 44, of Woodfield Road, Princes Risborough. On November 19 in Turnfurlong Lane, Aylesbury, criminally damaged a blue Vauxhall Corsa to the value of £250. Pleaded guilty. Fined £73, compensation £100, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

JAMIE JONES, 30, of Eaton Road, Aylesbury. On January 1 drove a black Vauxhall Insignia in Oxford Road, Aylesbury, after consuming 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 22 months, fined £110, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

LEWIS ARTHUR LITTLE, 23, of Southfield Road, Princes Risborough. On May 7 while driving a large goods vehicle failed to comply with a red light traffic signal at Hanger Lane Gyratory System, London. Pleaded guilty. Licence endorsed with three points, fined £100, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

MICHELLE SOAN, 35, of Littleworth, Wing. On December 30 in Dean’s Farm Lane, Soulbury, drove a grey VW Golf after consuming 105 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitlitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

JACKIE ANNETTE BAYLISS, 45, of Rignall Road, Great Missenden. On October 30 stole confectionery from Sainsbury’s, Great Missenden. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

HANNAH ELIZABETH BROOKFIELD, 20, of Stratford Close, Aston Clinton. On November 25 in Bierton Road, Aylesbury, had in her possession a quantity of mephedrone, a class B drug. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, costs £85, victim surcharge £15.

KELLY LOUISE BURNHAM, 36, of Lynher Close, Aylesbury. On December 5 stole four bottles of alcohol worth £66 from Tesco, Princes Risborough. Pleaded guilty. Fined £75, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

ALEX DOYLE, 25, of Wendover Road, Weston Turville. On January 10 in the Honey Bee pub’s car park was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Pleaded guilty. Fined £300, costs £85, victim surcharge £30.

JOHN LESTER GILDER, 33, of Galloway, Aylesbury. On January 9 assaulted two males. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

JAMES EDWARD HOAD, 35, of Carnation Way, Aylesbury. On January 12 in Risborough Road, Aylesbury, drove a white Ford Transit after consuming 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 19 months, fined £600, costs £85, victim surcharge £60.
