Court round-up: Man had drugs in Aylesbury Travelodge

A man who was in possession of drugs at Aylesbury’s Travelodge hotel is among those featured in this week’s round-up from the courts.

ADNAN MAHROOF, 21, of Thrasher Road, Aylesbury. On August 23 at the Travelodge, Aylesbury, had in his possession six small deal bags of herbal cannabis, a Class B drug. Pleaded guilty. Fined £75, criminal courts charge £180, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

STEPHEN GRAHAM MAYHEW, 33, of Somerville Way, Aylesbury. On August 9 criminally damaged a cell at Aylesbury Police Station to the value of £80. Pleaded guilty. Fined £75, criminal courts charge £150, costs £85, compensation £80, victim surcharge £20.

THOMAS McNALLY, 24, of Lee Road, Aylesbury. On August 9 in Aylesbury had in his possession a quantity of cannabis, a Class B drug. Pleaded guilty. Fined £200, criminal courts charge £180, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

JEREMY ROWLETT, 41, of Wigmore Road, Aylesbury. On June 25 in Prestwood assaulted a female. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

JOWAD HUSSAIN RAJA, 24, of Lansdowne Road, Aylesbury. 1) On January 1 in New Street, Aylesbury, drove a blue Vauxhall Astra without insurance. Pleaded guilty. 2) Same date/ location, failed without reasonable excuse, to provide a specimen for a breath test. Pleaded guilty. 3) Same date/ location obstructed a police offi cer in the execution of his duty. Pleaded guilty. Licence endorsed with six points, fined £315, costs £750, victim surcharge £20.

KEITH HENDERSON, 43, of Long Meadow, Aylesbury. On May 25 assaulted a male at McDonalds, High Street, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Fined £315, costs £500, criminal courts charge £150, compensation £75, victim surcharge £32.

JAMES LIAM CONNOLLY, 29, of Eeles Close, Aylesbury. 1) On July 9 in Aylesbury had in his possession 13.39 grammes of methylmethcathinone, a Class B drug. Pleaded guilty. 2) Same date had in his possession a small bag of herbal cannabis, a Class B drug. Pleaded guilty. Must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, criminal courts charge £180, costs £85, victim surcharge £60.

MEGAN LOUISE CORNWALL, 26, of Archer Drive, Aylesbury. On May 21 stole food and other consumable goods worth £203 from Tesco. Pleaded guilty. Fined £75, criminal courts charge £180, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

HEATHER LAY, 55, of Stocklands Way, Prestwood. On July 15 stole fruit and veg worth £19 from Sainsbury’s, Buckingham Street, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Fined £75, criminal courts charge £150, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

PHILIP WENN, 40, of Hanover Place, Bristol. On August 15 at the Kingsbury pub, Aylesbury, used threatening words/ behaviour causing alarm/ distress and the offence was racially aggravated. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for 18 months, criminal courts charge £150, costs £85, victim surcharge £15.

MICHAEL EDWARD FRANKS, 36, of The Crescent, Pitstone. On July 4 in Pitstone destroyed property to the value of £952 belonging to a male. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

HENRY MANKIN, 23, of Vale Road, Aylesbury. On August 11 in Halton Lane, Aylesbury, drove a red Vauxhall Corsa after consuming 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.
