A drink-driver who attended a rehabilitation course to have his ban reduced and has re-offended is featured in this week’s round-up from the magistrates’ court.

DANIEL KORBUS, 26, of Tring Hill, Buckland. On March 31 in Tring Road, Aylesbury, drove a Vauxhall Astra after consuming 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 40 months ( drink drive rehabilitation not offered as done previously and re-offended), fined £200, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

KATHRYN ANNE BAKER, 39, of no fixed abode. On May 4 stole DVDs and electrical items worth £344 from Tesco, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for 18 months, criminal courts charge £180, victim surcharge £15.

GARETH DEANS, 26, of Wycliffe End, Aylesbury. On February 8 at Rainborough Gardens, Aylesbury, destroyed a Nokia Lumia 520 to the value of £70 which belonged to another person. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for six months, compensation £59.99, costs £85, victim surcharge £15.

STEPHANIE LOUISE THRUSSELL, 36, of Chaloner Place, Aylesbury. On April 15 used threatening words/ behaviour with intent to cause a female alarm/ distress. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.
