Charities link up at community hub in town

Premises shared by Aylesbury and District Citizens Advice and RELATE have been officially opened.

The new location on Pebble Lane will see the two help organisations works together in a community hub.

Citizens Advice and counselling charity RELATE will share the premises with a number of charities and organisations including Rape Crisis, Thames Valley Family Mediation, Fresh Start, Healthy Minds, CAFCASS and St Francis Adoption Services.

Citizens Advice clients are asked to use the advice line service on 03444 111 444 for an initial assessment.

Rich Wiltshire, CEO of Citizens Advice: Aylesbury and District said, “Being able to share these premises with other local charities increases the level of support and advice we can give to those in need. We are very excited by the opportunities the Hub will provide.”

Fiona Paine, centre director for RELATE Mid Thames and Buckinghamshire said: “Our new location on Pebble Lane offers a lovely calm and relaxing space where we can welcome people needing counselling services. The aim of the hub is to create a group of organisations with a common purpose to support and help our local community.”
