Pitstone-based company shine at awards
PITSTONE-based company, SkyLight Solutions Limited, have won national acclaim at the 'Power of Aluminium Awards', held recently at Warwick University.
Recognising imagination, inspiration and innovation in the use of aluminium, judges whittled down nearly 100 entries to the winners in five categories.
In the Building and Construction category,SkyLight Solutions took the Highly Commended title for the glazed rooflight at the Central Gateway project in Manchester.
The awards were attended by Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and presented by leading designer Wayne Hemmingway MBE, founder of Red or Dead and Hemingway Design.
SkyLight Solutions Ltd was created in 2001 and specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke overhead glazing systems.
