Aylesbury’s market will be disrupted today as a result of the ongoing strong winds.

Market stalls will not be put up due to concerns over the winds which could make it unsafe for both the traders and public.

Traders have the option of working out the back of their vans and eight or nine have taken this up, according to an Aylesbury Vale District Council spokesman.

They added that a district council officer would be on site monitoring the situation throughout the day.
