Burnt body discovered in car in Ivinghoe

Police are currently investigating an unexplained death in Ivinghoe.

Police were called just before 6pm on Friday (June 26) to Beacon Road, where a burnt body was discovered in a car.

Investigations into the circumstances of this incident are still on going and police are treating it as an unexplained death.

Det Insp Dominic Williamson, of Aylesbury CID, said: "There have been reports that a white van was in the area at the time of the incident. I would appeal for the driver of this vehicle to come forward, as they may have information which could assist the investigation."

A post mortem examination is due to take place this afternoon (29/9).
