A nine-year-old boy who had his bike stolen on Christmas Eve has been given a replacement, thanks to the generosity of a community organisation.

Adam Evans’ orange BMX bike was stolen from the garden of a house in Ceely Road, Aylesbury, which left the boy ‘gutted.’

The community fund Donate Like A Pro has bought Adam a brand new replacement bike.

Adam rides with the Memory Lane crew, an Aylesbury-based group that raises money for good causes through sponsored bike rides.

Tony Coombs, who leads the group said: “Adam was overwhelmed by the donation of a new bike.

“I would like to thank everyone who has helped put a smile back on this young lad’s face.”
