Aylesbury Alternative Music Society is feeling a little bit proud of itself, and rightly so!

The society’s second ever gig, featuring Imminent Annihilation, Redneck Jesus and Polar Valley on April 2 brought the White Swan pub to life with the sound of metal.

And the Sunday before, the pub also played host to the society’s meeting, discussing how to best manage upcoming events including an acoustic afternoon at Basement 13 on April 16, and Turnstone’s debut EP launch at The White Swan on May 13.

Matthew said: “The show and the meeting were both a huge success.

“All of the bands said it was an excellent show, the headliners said it was the best they’ve ever played.

“The crowd went wild for every band. The turnout was more than last time, by my own count, it was over 80 people. Second Earth managed to sell a few records and they, too, were very happy with how it all went.

“I believe The White Swan were very pleased with it
too.”
