A fantastic roll call of chefs wil appear at Thame FoodFestival this year.

Raymond Blanc, Sophie Grigson, Richard Bertinet, BBC 1 Masterchef 2013 winner Natalie Coleman and Great British Bake Off Winner 2013 Frances Quinn will all be at the popular foodie event.

A celebrity judged bake off will also take place for the first time, alongside over 100 stalls of good local food and drink to enjoy. And Thame Belles WI will transform the town hall into a tea room open for tea, cake and a quick rest during the afternoon.

The event takes place in the heart of Thame town centre from 9am to 5pm on Saturday September 26.

Cooking live in the cookery theatre will be Raymond Blanc, who makes the short journey from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons each year to support the festival. He will be joined by Sophie Grigson who will cook some favourite dishes from her Oxford cafe Sophie’s Kitchen.Breton baker Richard Bertinet will share the secrets of his sell-out bread making classes.

The festival’s first ever cookery demonstration devised especially for children will be led by Masterchef winner Natalie Coleman.

Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn will present prizes to the winning bakers of The Big Thame Bake at noon before taking her place alongside other GBBO contestants for a group interview session with festival patron Lotte Duncan.

Ms Duncan said: “The Thame Food Festival is a day dedicated to good local food and drink with inspirational talks and cookery demos, the pick of the region’s producers, authentic street food and live music - all the ingredients for a brilliant day out.”
