Aylesbury MP urges residents to speak up over traveller and gypsy sites

Aylesbury MP David Lidington has urged people to speak up over plans to place 114 permanent residential pitches for travellers and gypsies in Bucks.

Mr Lidington learnt about the plans are reading the latest recommendations regarding provisions for travellers and gypsies as part of the South East Plan.

He said:

"The South East Plan will affect everyone in Buckinghamshire. Our local Councils will have to ensure that their own planning policies conform to these targets. If local residents and Parish Councils want to oppose or support the plan, they need to speak up now."
