Aylesbury College GCSE results match national pass rates

AYLESBURY College were delighted with this years GCSE results which matched the national pass rate.

Heather Bulpett, Head of Curriculum for Humanities and Languages commented "We are delighted with this year's GCSE results. The majority of students taking their GCSEs at Aylesbury College are younger students giving it another go, after being unsuccessful the first time around. We have given them a second chance and have managed to get them through very successfully. "

Other students who took their GCSEs at Aylesbury College were adult returners who also achieved great results after a break from education. Staff at the college were especially delighted with the 100 per cent pass rate in foreign languages including Arabic which is the first year that it has been taught.

Pauline Odulinski, Principal said, "There was a 20 per cent increase in the number of students that took GCSEs this year, yet the pass rate was once again maintained , which is a great achievement for our students and shows their determination to pass."

If you have received your GCSE results and would like to speak to someone at the college about your options and what to do next please call us on 01296 588599.
