Aylesbury Vale man killed at golf club

A 32 year old man from Stone has died from stab wounds in an incident at a golf club in Thame.

It happened at around 3pm yesterday (21/8) at The Oxfordshire Golf Club.

A post - mortem conducted today (22/8) showed that the victim died from serious stab wounds to the neck.

He has been formally identified but not all close family members have been informed at this time.

Det Ch Insp Steve Tolmie from the Major Crime Unit said: "Police were called to the scene at 3.12pm yesterday afternoon and the first officers arrived within four minutes of the first call.

"The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

"This was clearly upsetting for the staff and guests who were at the golf club at the time and I would like to thank them for their cooperation."

Jonathan Limani, 33 from Rycote Lane, Thame has been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear before Oxford Magistrates Court tomorrow (23/8).
