STAFF, volunteers, board members and users of Queens Park Arts Centre were celebrating last week after the building's future was finally secured.
Having secured the 325,000 necessary to buy the freehold of Queens Park Arts Centre from Bucks County Council in December 2008, the legal teams for the Centre and Council have just finished tying up all loose ends and the deeds to the building and land were finally transferred to Queens Park Arts Centre earlier this month.
This means that the freehold and security of Queens Park Arts Centre and the Limelight Theatre was secured just two years after an appeal was launched in 2006.
