Arts and craft fair in Aylesbury being held today (Saturday November 8)

AN ARTS and crafts fair is being held today at Queens Park Centre in Aylesbury today.

Events on today (Saturday November 8) include:

CRAFTS: Art and Craft Fair at Queens Park Centre, 10am to 4pm. Jewellery, glass, textiles, cards, paintings, ceramics and more. Children's activities and refreshments throughout the day. Entrance 2, members 1, under 14s free.

FAMILY HISTORY: Bucks Genealogical Society presents a talk by Stuart King on the Wooden Ware Makers of Chesham. Talk at 3pm on at Mandeville School, Ellen Rd, Aylesbury (near SM Hospital). Members free. Non members very welcome, 1. Easy parking or Bus 9 from Town Centre passes gate.

WALK: A leisurely walk around Chinnor hillside reserve, a SSSI for chalk grassland and junipers.

Magnificent views, hopefully seeing red kites and buzzards. See the conservation work that has been done and how volunteers can help. Some steep slopes which may be muddy. 2pm to 4pm.

Meet at the Reserve car park, 1 mile east of Chinnor. On road to Radnage take first left to Bledlow Ridge. After 500m turn left into Hill Top Lane. Free.

EXHIBITION: Art Exhibition & Sale by Windmill Artists at Lacey Green Village Hall, near Princes Risborough. 10.30am to 4pm. Free admission. Also enjoy our quality all-day bistro serving lunches and afternoon teas etc.
