Age UK team tops fundraising target
The Age UK Oxfordshire Today! campaign team have beaten their fundraising target of £50,000 to support services offered by the charity in the Banbury area.
More than 6,000 people were welcomed through their doors in White Lion Walk last year and fundraising events, which started in March last year, included a major jazz event at Broughton Castle.
Bee Myson, the charity’s centre and services manager for Banbury, said: “The team is looking forward to next year when we hope to build on last year’s fundraising success and enable more people to benefit from services.”
