Customers in the queue at Natwest in Aylesbury yesterday would have been served by a host of popular children’s Disney characters.

Snow White, Aladdin’s Jasmine and Elsa from children’s hit film Frozen were just some of the familiar faces in the Market Square bank as staff dressed up in their best Disney costumes to raise money for four-year-old Esme Davison-Hoult, who suffers from Rett Syndrome.

The youngster, who lives in Wendover, visited the branch with dad Anthony, mum Abigail and little brother Patrick, two, to meet the staff, who treated her to a new princess dress.

Bank manager Pam Carter, who helped organise the day, said: “Esme’s parents joined us for half an hour this morning and said they were touched at the kind efforts everyone had made.”

“Customers were happy to get involved and join in with the raffle. It’s lovely seeing the local community willing to work together. Everyone was smiling and it was very busy around town because of the weather.”

The total amount raised is yet to be counted, as staff at the Haddenham and Princes Risborough branches have been doing their bit to raise money too. For more, search ‘Esme’s Allstars’ on Facebook.
