After the shock death of Michael Jackson last night, we want to know how you will remember the King of Pop.
Whether you went to one of his concerts in the past, were due to attend one of his shows in London next month, met the man himself or just want to pay tribute, let us know.

Shocked! We have lost such an iconic man...ranked highly with other lost greats like Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra and Elvis! Putting aside all the bad press about Michael J, he was a musical genius and the industry wont be the same without him. RIP.....

He might have made some great music back in the day but all this is tainted by images of him dangling his young baby over a balcony and the many reports of him 'paying off' accusers.

JR plenty of time for that chat another day, for now I want to remember what made him the icon and legend... the music, the dance, the showman. Any talk of what he might have done will do nothing but hurt his children and family.

I was lucky enough to see MJ on his Dangerous and HIStory tours. I grew up listening to MJ's music and I think it will be a while before his passing really registers. It all feels a bit like a bad dream.

RIP Michael, no-one and no words can hurt you now

Am shocked to the core , its a sad day for many ex CBS employees of Aylesbury like myself who took pride in the production of his records ,cassettes etc , and on them special corporate days out to see him in concert, i saw him 3 times during the 80's and the showmanship and performances were top draw , in my humble opinion he was up their with Elvis , Sinatra and Lennon with consumate ease. sad day ,sad loss :-((((((( .many cracking memories though

JR is quite right in pointing out the controversey around MJ's somewhat erratic and dubious actions.

The Herald asked "how will you remember him" and for a lot of people who weren't into his music that is how they will remember him.

Some great music (can't say I liked it all), great dancer, ground breaking videos, bad plastic surgery, changing skin colour, bubbles the chimp, wacko jacko, crotch grabbing, allegations of child abuse and odd behaviour.

Just about sums it up for me. You can't airbrush out the bad stuff just because he's gone.

I like many others I was hoping the UK gigs would see him back to former glories. Sad to see a once prolific artist seemingly so down. We all love a comeback.

Very sad at his death so young, not suprised though. MJ has been tabloid gold throughout his life and I, like millions of others, lapped it up.

Only telling it as I see it.
I don't care if this guy was God, inviting kids to 'sleep over' in your own bed as well as others in his bedroom whilst he was in there (his own admission) is crossing the line.

My kids have their mates over to stay but they have to camp down in my kids' bedrooms, doors are closed etc.

I wouldn't let my kid go t sleepovers sharing a bed with an adult.

He did admit to this in the Martin Bashir interview.

However, if I thought my kid had been abused I wouldn't be bought off for money like those parents were. I'd want the SOB banged up for a very long time (at least!!!).

Thing is, he waved shedloads of cash under the parents' noses & (sad to say) many people are easily bought off.
In a few short years, those kids will be off seeking solice on the couch of a shrink.

I read that Jordy Chandler, although living well off of his investments, is now 29 and has been in therapy for years. Very sad.
