A person is recovering after being assaulted in an attempted burglary in Aylesbury.
Four men entered a property on Lander Road on June 24 around 11pm and demanded money from the occupant. They assaulted the victim and then left empty-handed.

The victim sustained minor cuts and bruises.

The intruders were all wearing dark-coloured hooded tops and balaclavas.

Det Con Graham Horton, investigating, said: "I am appealing for anyone who witnessed anyone or any vehicle acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence to contact me or Crimestoppers."

Anyone with information can contact Det Con Graham Horton at Aylesbury police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111; they don't need to know your name, just what you know.
