Nearly £5,000 was stolen from the Co-Op in Stone after a robbery on Sunday.
Two men entered the store around 10pm and forced two members of staff into the rear office. They gained entry to the safe and stole approximately £4,500 in cash.

The two members of staff were uninjured, but shaken by the incident.

The robbers were both wearing dark-coloured hooded tops and scarves concealing their faces.

PC Nick Ramscar, investigating, said: "I am appealing for any witnesses who were near the Co-Op, particularly in the Indian restaurant opposite, who may have seen any men wearing dark clothing or any vehicle being driven suspiciously around the time of the offence to contact me or Crimestoppers."

Anyone with any information relating to the robbery is urged to contact PC Ramscar at Aylesbury police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.

If you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
