Power has now been resotred to the Weedon Road area of Aylesbury following an electricity cut which lasted more than 14 hours.
Power was interrupted to 41 households at 6.45pm yesterday (March 4) due to a fault which developed on a piece of equipment on the underground electricity network.

An EDF spokeswoman said: "In order to complete the repair in safety, EDF Energy Networks engineers isolated power to a further 83 customers at 9.45am today.

"Power was restored to all customers affected, by 10.10am.

"We do appreciate how difficult to be without power and would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused."

So the two small and two fairly long power cuts that we have had in the Stoke Mandeville, South Court area, one last Friday, and one reaching down as far as the Tring road area recently so I understand, is not news worthy, and we have had no explantion on why they happened.
