Police continue Aylesbury drugs crackdown
A MAN was arrested in Aylesbury this morning on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
At 7.50am, officers entered the property in Disraeli Square, Fairford Leys and found a small amount of class A drugs and a large amount of cash.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody.
PC Chris Fallon, who led the warrant, said: "I am particularly disturbed of the obvious signs of drug use at this property as it is close to a local children's care home and playground.
"This warrant was carried out under the umbrella of Operation Falcon and is part of an on-going operation to target drug users and dealers.
"All the information provided to the police came from the local community; they enabled this warrant to be carried out and have helped us in the fight against drugs in Aylesbury.
"We rely on community intelligence for raids such as this and we need community help to stamp drugs out of Aylesbury Vale all together."
