A funeral director who was behind the wheel of a car that killed an Aylesbury pensioner has been sentenced.
Darrin Brooks, 43, from Western Avenue, Buckingham, did not have his licence but continued to drive for 12 years.

Tragically on August 10 he was driving a car when Alzheimer's sufferer, Isobel Surridge, stepped out in front of him as he drove along Elmhurst Road.

He was driving at between 23 and 30 miles an hour and there was nothing he could have done to avoid hitting her.

He was sentenced to 160 hours community service for various fraud counts relating to the doctoring of his driving licence.
