Licence plate thieves strike Aylesbury

LICENCE plates which were stolen from cars in Aylesbury were later used in the theft of petrol from a filling station in Beaconsfield.
Between 11.30pm on Sunday May 4 and 11.00am on Monday May 5, criminals removed the front and rear plates from a Silver 'X' registered Renault vehicle whilst parked in Barnett Way, Aylesbury.

Between 5.00pm on Monday May 5 and 8.30am on Tuesday May 6, offenders removed the front and rear number plates from a Silver 'S' registered Ford Escort vehicle in Quarrendon Avenue, Aylesbury.

These plates were used on a Blue BMW in theft of petrol from a filling station in London Road, Beaconsfield at about 10.15pm on Monday 5 May.
