Leader of Bucks CC moves into his eighth year in power

THERE were no changes made to Bucks County Council's cabinet during today's (Thursday) annual meeting.
Cllr David Shakespeare (Ryemead, Tylers Green and Loudwater), remains as leader for his eighth year.

He said that the county continued to be one of the highest performing authorities in the country in spite of continual reductions in Government funding.

The County's Cabinet was elected without change:

Deputy Leader- Bill Chapple (Aston Clinton)

Adult Social Care - Mike Colston (Great Missenden)

Achievement and Learning - Marion Clayton (Wendover and Halton)

Children and Families Social care - Lin Hazell (Burnham Beeches)

Community Services - Margaret Dewar ((Beaconsfield)

Resources - Frank Downes (Stokenchurch, Radnage and West Wycombe)

Strategic Planning - Martin Tett (The Chalfonts and Seer Green)
